Hey guys, just in case you weren't aware, our very own Alan Faiola has his senior euphonium recital this Saturday at 1 in Ford Hall. However, since many of us will be journeying to a tournament this weekend and won't be able to attend, we should totally go to his dress rehearsal!
When: 8 pm on Wednesday
Where: the big hall in the music building (I think that's what Ford is)
I strongly, STRONGLY suggest that if you are going to be gone this weekend you come and watch your teammate on wednesday. We here in the Nawshus family always like to support the artistic endeavors of our members and i know Alan has been working hard and kids who play brass instruments are the coolest. Do it.

Ladies and gentlemen,
Following this paragraph you will find the Georgia 2007 Spring Break roster. I commend all of you for putting so much time and effort into practice thus far this year, and your selection for this trip is a reflection of that dedication and interest in Nawshus.
If your name is below, you owe a $100 deposit to myself, Nicole, Fivel, or Jen NO LATER THAN SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 18TH. "No later" means that is the last day to give in money, so anyone who can get it to us earlier, please do so, as we are being threatened that we can't go because of the lack of money in the account right now. The balance of the money (which will also be approximately $100) will be due at the end of the month when we have finalized our calculations.
Other housekeeping issues: If you would like to play in the hat tournament in Georgia, please post in the discussion string next to this post asking if you want to play in the hat tournament (put your full name, years of college experience and that you will play). YOU MUST DO THIS BY 3 PM TOMORROW. It is $10 extra but you get a shirt and that is how we meet all the teams we hang out with during the week. I strongly encourage it. We will also have a mandatory meeting about a week before we leave to discuss plenty of important things about the trip.
Once again, congrats. We're going to have an awesome time. Start counting down to March 9th.

I just wanted to make the team aware that after reviewing the tape of the Naw vs. Alums game, we determined via indisputable video evidence that at the point the Alums allegedly won 13-10, the score was actually 11-11, therefore making the game tied and without an actual winner. Just saying...
But we love them anyway and congrats for taking home the title.

49 Indoor Rosters

Hello. As you all know, our indoor tournament is Saturday, January 27th and will take up the bulk of the day. I was delaying posting these rosters since Pace actually has been a spy and has been telling not only the alums, but the townie team and the Geneseo alum team about things regarding our team. So pretty much he can't be trusted and shouldn't be allowed to read the website. Nic, is there any way to put a Pace-blocker on this thing?
Anyway, Nicole and I finished the indoor rosters; I was in charge of the guys and she was in charge of the girls. It's based on who told us or emailed us that they wanted to play, and as you can see, it is divided Aish/Bish. For a while I have been tossing around having practice squads divided as such, with starters on one team and subs on another in order to have players who are normally in supporting roles placed in leadership roles to help our overall growth. So that's essentially what I did. If you are normally a supporting handler, now you are a primary handler, and so on. For the girls, I'm not totally sure what Nicole's logic was but from the look of it it's divided between who she has seen the drunkest. Here they are:

Hey I couldn't post on the discussion board, but there is an opportunity to play indoor at the mondo gym tomorrow from 2:00-4:00. It's technically tennis time, but I don't think anyone will be there.
